Snowmobile day

Snowmobile day

Ride a snowmobile above the frozen sea.

Be an arctic adventurer and ride the old trail mail track with snowmobile.

The snowmobile guided tour takes about 3 hours and follows the old trail to the north crossing lakes, frozen fiords and hills with breathtaking views of Disko Bay and Disko Island. Finally if is possible we cross the frozen sea to reach Oqaatsut (1 hour away from Ilulissat by snow mobile) where we have a break drinking coffee or tea, eat snacks and discover the traditional settlement and its inhabitants’ way of living.

We ride back to Ilulissat taking a different route to explore the back country, visiting a spectacular frozen waterfall and the dramatics rock cliffs that dominate the scenery.

No previous experience is required. We provide all the equipment and teach all you need to know to ride completely safely with our experienced guide.

Sometimes depend of the weather conditions the route must be different
